So my life without Diet Pepsi doesn't seem much different than my life with Diet Pepsi.
I did have some adverse side effects coming off of Diet Pepsi and I don't really think the worse is over yet. I still feel too good. It's almost too good to be true. The headache hasn't reoccurred since the seconds day without my sweet, caffeine filled diet soda.
I have noticed that my stomach mostly bothers me in the morning. I'm not sure if it's related to the lack of Diet Pepsi though, because I normally start my day with a nice cup of hot tea. So I never had the soda in the morning. Could just be a side effect of coming off the stuff. My stomach just adjusting.
But conclusively the one thing that has been consistent is that I am more active. I dont want to just sit around the house playing on the computer. Don't get me wrong, I still want to do that. I just do it a lot less now.
Even in this cold weather I am out and about.
I am still a procrastinator though. LOL.
I definitely try to choose healthier now though since I like to pair certain tastes of food with soda. Now I am mostly drinking water. Especially when we get to go out to eat. Water tends to make me think healthy.
I'll use today's dinner outing as an example. My husband decided to treat the family with a surprise outing to The Park Restaurant here in Shenandoah. Anyway, the first thing our waitress asked was could she get us to drink. Cutting Diet Pepsi out and not liking my other options I chose water.
Knowing what my drink was I chose a Chef Salad for dinner. Don't worry. It had ham and egg and cheese, with french dressing smothered all over it's leafy greens.
Pretty healthy choice, if you ask me.
